Our WHY
Following more than 15-years of experience within the industry, it has become increasingly clear that many aspiring punters within Australian punting academies are underserved in terms of coaching, mentoring, feedback, and communication. Some existing programs have expanded to include over 95 athletes, resulting in minimal individual attention (1:30 coach-to-player ratio) and an average academy tenure exceeding 21 months.
While some organisations report scholarship success rates as high as 90%, empirical data indicates the actual figure is just 29.4%*.

At Australian Kicking Academy, our MISSION is to deliver elite, highly-individualised punting development. We recognise that punting is not a one-size-fits-all skill — and our coaching philosophy reflects that. Our ultimate objective is to help you secure a world-class college education, via a full athletic scholarship, while giving you the opportunity to compete in front of stadium crowds of up to 100,000, with millions more watching from around the globe.
